Road to Happiness

It's a long, long way
Traveling in the dark.
Twists and turns
All over the road,
Endless road of Life.

Some days are longer than the rest
Harder to get by,
You know you're losing
The battle
The battle of your Life.

Still a single ray,
Ray of Dream;
Of Hope,
Keeps you going,
Going on, over and again.

You tumble, you fall,
You cry,
Then you get up
Dust yourself
And go on.... again.

Life is but a bed of roses,
And every rose has its thorn.
It is the thorns,
And not the roses,
That push you on.

Along Life's road,
You make friends,
Company
That offer you solace,
For a part of your journey.

Sometimes your roads merge,
Sometimes they divide.
It's not how you part
But how you are together
That matters most.

People come and go,
Memories are all that remain.
All we can do
Is make sure,
That they are happy ones.

It is one thing we live for,
Happiness,
The Holy Grail,
Of our quest
The quest of our Life.

After all is said and done,
All that you wish for,
Only thing you want,
Is Happiness
At the end of this Road,
Road to Happiness!!
