How many of you out there have wanted to do something, started it and then just pushed it aside because a) you didn't have the time to finish it b) something better came along or c) you lost interest. I have a bunch of stuff I've started that I have yet to finish. I will finish them, though in what decade I'm not quite sure!!
Here are some of them:
- My Book (Yes, I started on a book, on two actually, but the first one was shelved before it reached my word processor. This one I am actually planning to finish in under 5 years. Let us see where it gets me)
- A pair of woolen socks with foam base. (I've finished one of the socks and was working on the other when ...tadaa..... I ran out of wool. The wool I was using was from an old sweater and I don't think I'll get any new that can match it. Now I'm not sure how to go about it. )
- I've also been working on making a model house out of either paper, cardboard or wood. (I made several paper ones ... they aren't very stable and collapse. I'm working on the design of the house, and also trying to decide what material to use. My sister wants to make it using cardboard.. but let's see....)
- My own site ( So far.. I've managed to create blogs. So now I'm looking at a whole website... This one hasn't left the concept table yet)
- A CD rack ( I started out cutting the wood for this. Now all I have to figure out is how to make the shelves. The wood might be eaten by termites by the time I get back to this)
- .... more to come (I can't remember what other things I started )
